Anneke Levelt Sengers Prize
Women for Science in Americas - 2018 
The IANAS Women for Science Program will offer a prize that encourages and recognizes the efforts of young women scientists from the following countries: Bolivia, Caribbean (Caribbean Academy of Sciences or Caribbean Scientific Union), Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Uruguay 
The Prize is named after Anneke Levelt-Sengers, in recognition of her outstanding work promoting and recognizing the role of women scientists in Latin America, North America and the Caribbean. This Prize will be coordinated by IANAS, with financial support from TWAS-ROLAC and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.

  • Dear Focal Points of the IANAS Women for Science Program

    The Chilean Academy of Science and the Inter-American Network of Academies of Sciences (IANAS) are pleased to invite you to participate in the Women for Science Focal Points Meeting to be held in Santiago de Chile on October 23-25, 2013

    October 23 (Travel day)
    October 24 (Full day meeting)
    October 25 (Half day meeting and return)

    The meeting will take place at the facilities of the Chilean Academy and the organization will cover the local costs. There is a limited budget to support some countries to cover the air fare.

    Please check whether you need a visa to enter Chile and kindly start applying for it.

    In the following months, we will be sending the Agenda and more information about the meeting
